Activity Report

The weekly Rapport Activity Report presents security events which triggered Rapport’s protection mechanisms over the last seven days. This report is for your information only. No action is necessary, as Rapport blocks all security events that may lead to a data breach.

The Activity Report is displayed automatically 12 hours after installing Rapport. If you want Rapport to present this report on a weekly basis, you can select the Automatically present this report at the beginning of each week checkbox. By default, this checkbox is cleared.

You can view the Activity Report at any given time, by navigating to a Rapport protected website (for example www.trusteer.com), clicking the green Rapport icon next to the address bar, and then clicking View Weekly Activity Report.

The report itself consists of eight categories. The categories of the activity report list different event types that Rapport encountered and mitigated while you were browsing the Internet. You can expand each category by clicking its name or the down arrow next to it. Once clicked, a description of the security event appears, and a list of events from the last seven days that fits into this category, is displayed. Do not be concerned if you do not understand some or even all of the information presented in this report, as it is slightly technical. This information, as mentioned above, does not require any action on your part. You can safely dismiss this report and never look at it again. It is there for users who want to review Rapport’s activity over time.

The fact that the Activity Report includes events does not mean that you have malware on your desktop or that you visited fraudulent websites. It does mean that some software or websites which you visited violated the security policy set by your protected website owners or by Trusteer. For example, software which tried to take a screenshot of your bank statement, or software which tried to read information that you were typing into your online banking website. This policy violation caused Rapport to block the software from reaching the sensitive information.
