You should check if Internet Explorer's Security settings have JavaScript enabled.
To do that, Go to Internet Explorer->Tools->Internet Options->Security Tab->Custom Level and check that in the Scripting Section, "Active Scripting" is enabled. If not, change it to "enabled", apply changes and reopen your Browser.
Note: You need to check (and possibly change) your IE Security settings even if you're using a Firefox browser.
