To disable Rapport's protection mechanism against unauthorized removal, you must disable the protection via the "Edit policy" section in the Rapport console.
XP users can skip to step 4.
Vista users must first run Rapport as administrator:
1. Stop Rapport through the Start menu:
2. Open the folder "c:\program files\Trusteer\Rapport\bin" through the "Run" Command:
Run Rapport as administrator by right-clicking the "RapportService.exe" file and choosing "Run as administrator":
3. Choose "Continue" if an authorziation dialog is presented.
4. Open the Rapport console through the start menu as shown in the step 1.
5. Click the right arrow and go to "Edit policy":
6. Enter the characters presented.
7. Change the relevant setting to "Never":
8. Click "Save" and restart your computer.
