The host name is unrecognized on the Internet

Rapport validates the website that you browse, to make sure that you are not under attack. As part of the validation process, Rapport accesses name servers (DNS) on the Internet to receive information about the website that you are trying to access. If the Internet name servers do not recognize the host name that you are trying to access, the following dialog box is presented.

A host name is the first part of the address. For example, www.trusteer.com and mail.google.com. An example of a host name that does not exist is nothing.trusteer.com.

There is one main scenario in which Internet name servers do not recognize the host name you are trying to access. This scenario occurs when the host name is internal to your organization and is not listed on the Internet.

If the unrecognized host name is an internal website used by your organization:

1. Click Allow Access.

2. Select the Do not warn me about this host name again checkbox, only if you do not want to be warned about this internal website again.

If the unrecognized host name is not an internal website:

• Click Block Access to avoid accessing this website.

or

• Browse the website with caution.
