When installing Rapport, Sophos will ask you to allow the installer. To complete the installation, choose "add the checksum" and "allow all activity", as shown here:
When the installation completes, Sophos will block Rapport and start presenting this type of messages:
To stop these messages and for Rapport to function properly, it is necessary to configure Sophos Anti-Virus, by following these steps:
1. Right-click the Sophos Anti-Virus icon from the taskbar and choose "Open":
2. Click "Configure Sophos Anti-Virus":
3. Choose "On-access scanning":
4. From the "Exclusions" tab, click "add":
5. Choose "folder" as the Item type and click "browse":
6. Select the folder "trusteer" (usually under c:\program files):
7. Finally, Click "ok" in all the open menus.
It is also necessary to configure the Sophos Firewall:
1. Right-Click the Firewall icon and choose "configure":
2. Under the Applications tab click "add":
3. Find the "RapportService.exe" (usually under c:\program files\trusteer\rapport\bin):
4. Click "open" and then follow the same procedure under the "Processes" tab:
5. Finally, click "ok" on all the open menus
